Wood Sunglasses shows off your fashion style. Or, at the very least, they have a significant role in the persona, that you portray to others. Think about it: they’re right there, front and center, in the middle of your face. They can change the shape and personality of your face. As you know if you read my latest post, these are hands-down my favorite sunglasses on the planet. I’ve already raved about how their warm colors make me feel, but I feel I need to say more about the image these shades help you give to the world. Their warm colors make you come across as a warm and inviting, fun-loving person who knows how to have a good time and enjoy life. They’re just the right level of playful and are absolutely perfect for even winter or anytime you’re wishing you were on a Caribbean beach. They’re not, however, ideal for formal wear, and they’re okay for a date in the park only if you’re comfortable showing off your loud personality. 

Classic – Duwood Wooden Sunglasses 

These are the perfect date sunglasses – they’re classy enough to make your date swoon, or at the very least be impressed by your level of class. They also work for less informal work environments, weddings, and your next vacation.  With their two-toned frames, they hint at an adventurous personality, although not enough for people to get an idea of who you really are. Think of these shades as that friend in your friend group who almost never talks unless they have something to say – they’re reliable, enjoyable to be around, full of personality, but only show it when they need to. 

Ebony Wood Sunglasses with Tribal Design – Renegade 

In the EarthShade collection, it’s hard to find a more masculine design than these. Especially with smoke lenses, they give off an air that you know exactly where you’re going and why. This pair is great for weddings, going to and from work, and work functions, although they might be a bit too serious for that first  date. 

Zebra Wood Polarized Sunglasses – Highlander 

Solid, square frames are often associated with the extra-confident type. In darker shades, they can give off a very professional air, but in lighter shades, like this one, they tend to exude confidence while still hinting to a playful, open-minded nature. And again, the shade of lenses matters – grey works for more formal occasions, while blue is better for more informal gatherings with friends and family – not so great for job interviews or formal work dinners. 

Red Rosewood Sunglasses for Women – Sari 

Petite round frames tend to give off a smart and sophisticated vibe. They tell the world, in a not-snobbish way, that you know what you want, that you’re confident and a go-getter. They also tend to have something of a European – French, maybe? – feel that’s intriguing in large part because of its understated simplicity and delicate style. 

Layered Wooden Sunglasses for Women – Kat 

With slightly thicker frames than the red rosewood ones mentioned above, these cat-eye frames are slightly feminine and exceptionally fashionista. The idea is that this look is subtly expensive and refined – not enough to be obnoxious, but just enough so for those in the know to get the idea. Even on the days you have to run to the grocery store in a tank top and capris, these shades can still give you a highly sophisticated look, and they’re perfect for those days you go out and don’t want anyone to bother you. Be aware people might be intimidated by your sophistication!
