EarthShade Wood Sunglasses Chosen For Worldwide Promotion
EarthShade wood sunglasses for men and women have been chosen to be part of behind the scenes commercial with some of the biggest companies in the world. Along with the Panasonic EVA1 Camera and the Atomos Shogun Inferno monitor/recorder, EarthShade sunglasses will be showcased in a worldwide promotion showing off the latest video codec from Apple Inc.
The director, Will Stone, who is also an EarthShade customer, specifically chose EarthShade Sunglasses for the project. He explained, “They are stylish, comfortable, and eco-friendly, what else could you want”.
The project was shot in multiple locations, including Deep Creek Maryland, and Morgantown, WV. It was shot over a few days with some re-shoots due to bad weather. The actors/models were wearing several different models over the course of the shoot, (12 hour days), without a single complaint. In fact, there were no glasses to take home at the end of the shoot according to the director.
Costume director Shelly Wilson said she wasn’t familiar with wooden sunglasses before the project but “they fit perfectly with the image we were trying to create”. She also noted, the other company representatives on the shoot were enamored with the sunglasses. Each asking many questions about where they could be purchased, how they were constructed and were very pleased to have them used on the project. Wilson also stated, “it’s rare to use a smaller company on a project with such heavyweights as Panasonic, Atomos and Apple”. Finally she said she doubted the company would remain small for long. “They are just beautiful sunglasses for both men and women”.
This project will be featured worldwide on many websites and the final video should be released some time in August.
